Bali has been the favorite destination for locals and international tourists of all ages. Full of magnificent beaches, breathtaking sceneries, marvelous trinkets and interesting culture, Bali is ideal for people wanting to escape from daily routine life, enjoy a honeymoon, or even, have a great time with family and friends.

Few places on earth contain such cultural diversity and geographical extremes as this vast, deeply enigmatic country. The mere mention of Bali evokes thoughts of a paradise. It’s more than a place; it’s a mood, an aspiration, a tropical state of mind. The Island of the Gods offers great beaches, countless waves for world-class surfing and wonderful natural sites to visit and explore, colourful ceremonies, and gifted artists. Imagine lush vegetation, endless rice terraces, white and black beaches, ancient culture, countless temples and volcanic mountains. And all of this can be found on one tropical island: Bali. Is there any other island that has as much to offer as this paradise island! Tough call.

There is an unbelievably wide range of accommodation, restaurants, spas and world-class activities and shopping – all within close distance and at very fair prices. Choose from basic home-stays run by friendly Balinese families, 5star beach resorts or luxurious, privately-serviced Balinese villas with a private pool. There is a special vibe, an essence, something that is difficult to describe about Bali, which has touched and inspired visitors from all over the world since decades. It has something to do with the Balinese people themselves and their warm and welcoming character.

There are a thousand odd temples on Bali and many of them are on organised tourist trips. Immerse yourself in the Balinese culture and religion for a wonderful experience that will leave you amazed. One must visit the magnificent and spectacular sea temples – Tanah lot and Uluwatu.

A trip to Bali cannot be complete without a visit to Kuta market for nightlife / clubbing. The shopping, nightlife and nature of Kuta is electric offering fabulous restaurants and cafes and a great place for the shopaholic in you. The shopping experience at Krisna Market is also to look forward to.

Try the local cuisine. Besides the ubiquitous Nasi Goreng you have a vast array of Balinese foods and one highly recommended is Babi Guling. The choice of fresh tropical fruits will astound you and all at ridiculous prices.

One must go to Jimbaran Bay for a sunset dinner. Your choice of warungs and restaurants from budget to pricey is at hand along the beach strip. Grab a table near the water’s edge and feel the ocean lapping at your toes and you gaze in awe at a stunning sunset whilst imbibing in a seafood feast.

Beaches like Padang Padang, Kuta and Pantai Pandawa are gorgeous. Sit on the beach and watch the sunset disappear on the horizon; all around the colours of a spectrum will hold your gaze and leave an everlasting image. Afterwards, take a moonlight stroll along the beach.

With a prevalence of artistic, cultural, historical and scenic attractions, Central Bali appeals most those looking for break from the sun, sand and partying in Kuta or to those who are seeking a more thorough understanding of this complex island. The area not only encompasses the vibrant ‘art colony’ of Ubud and its surrounding areas, it is an area rich in all the traveller would want to see and experience on their visit to the island.

Looking for a remote island experience? Hop on a ferry to the Gili Islands – three small islands off the northwest coast of Lombok. Motorized vehicles are prohibited, so getting around is all by foot, bicycle, or horse-drawn carriage. It feels like stepping back in time! Here you’ll also find phenomenal diving.

Renting a private villa is a must do to take advantage of the low price point of Bali. Many resorts offer villas with private pools, exquisite ocean or jungle views, spacious decks, minibars, and comfy couches. These villas give you complete privacy – you can walk around naked without a care in the world; you’ll feel tucked away into nature.

All in all, Bali should be on your top priorities list to explore in the near future, if you have not already. Ping us to set you on board to Bali.
